We are seeing more and more creative therapies and wellbeing workshops being facilitated online and in person to improve mental health and wellbeing. As a qualified therapist, I have witnessed the incredible transformations that my clients have experienced in their recovery from burn out, stress, trauma, anxiety and disordered eating by changing their relationship with themselves through developing a daily creative practice of curiosity, expression and compassion and Suzanne and I want that for you too.
I recently read a review from 2010 of literature which explored the benefits of the arts by Stuckey and Noble. This review considered more than 100 studies, concluding that creative expression has a powerful impact on health and well-being.
Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, a positive psychologist took to the TedX stage to share his talk on how "Flow is the secret to happiness" and this experience offers opportunities for you to escape to a place of flow and get lost in a process of living in the present moment.
